Green Tea

I honestly believe that green tea is the secret to getting on a healthy track and staying on that track. It has tons of natural antioxidants, lowers cholesterol, and improves blood flow, just to name a few benefits. I know. I know. You’re probably thinking, but what does that even mean for me?

Well, not only does it fill me up, while doing so with ZERO CALORIES, it also, according to some research, boosts your metabolism. Whenever I feel a bit hungry between meals, I simply fill up a glass of my favorite lemon-flavored green tea and BAM – I am no longer tempted to snack-out.

The taste took me a bit of getting used to, as I am not a tea/coffee drinker, but by now I drink it without a problem. Do I absolutely look forward to experiencing the taste every single morning as soon as my eyes open? No. But at the same time it’s really not bad.

Bottom line: Definitely consider getting into the “green tea trend” because there’s a reason it’s so popular amongst every other human being you meet!

  1. I hate green tea. Not only is it disgusting, it literally makes me sick. Every time I have drank it I have thrown up. Maybe I’m allergic to it? I dunno. And also I think you need to stop worrying about calories. It’s not a healthy habit to just think about calories and count calories. It can lead to an eating disorder. Trust me, I know.
