College Ramblings

I’m back from North Carolina! I had so much fun these past few days with my family in North Carolina. As you all SHOULD know, I spent the last week in North Carolina because Neal, my brother, returned from overseas. Now, it’s crunch time. I have sooooo much to do before I leave for college (on Labor Day!) and don’t even know where to begin. BUT…I will not allow myself to get stressed out like I usually do. It’ll all get done and that’s all that matters.

Although I’ve had a great amount of free time over the summer to dedicate to YouTube and this blog, I know that won’t be the case this school year. With that being said, I’m debating only uploading videos twice a week, rather than three times. It kind of seems like a cop-out though. I don’t know. Yes, I have a lot going on in college, but I really do believe I can make time for YouTube this year. Of course I will have to see how it all plays out, but I really will try. Last year, at the beginning, I honestly didn’t even try. This year will be different though!

Not just with YouTube. This year will be much different in general. Rather than living in the dorms, I’ll be living in a townhouse-type place with eight other girls. It has a kitchen (thank goodness!) so I won’t need to eat from the disgusting dining hall every night. Bleck.

I’m also excited to have a little bit more privacy with this living situation than last year. While I really do love people, I have learned that I also really do love my alone time. This would be the part where I say, doesn’t everyone?, but that’s not the case at all. I swear, some people would glue themselves to their friends’ hips given the choice. I don’t understand it!!!

I also want to visit my friends at their colleges, but I just hate missing a weekend at mine. I love my college friends and have such a great time with them.

This is really random, but I wonder what I’ll be for halloween this year. Last year I was a cat (so original) and football player (I just put on a jets shirts and eyeblack). Halloween at college is sooo much fun. This year I kind of want to be something funny rather than something that makes me look good. I don’t know. I have time.

Well, I’d better go. I decided to get a few of my thoughts on paper (well, on a computer screen…) because I love looking back at these things.

Tata for now.

(Ew. Did I really just say that?)

  1. You can be a TV for Halloween. That’s what I was. You just take a cardboard box, paint it and cut holes for your arms. The only thing is that you should take the box off when you’re dancing or in a crowded space.
