My Yogurt Parfait Recipe!

Today I ate my very first yogurt parfait….and let’s just say that it most certainly will not be my last!

I’ve been looking for a good lunch to have for a while now because let’s face it…my little 80 calorie yogurt & broccoli combination just wasn’t cutting it. After an hour I’d be hungry again, which would lead to me endlessly snacking on grapes, which are NOT healthy if you have too many. SO….I decided to create my very own yogurt parfait and….I couldn’t be happier with the result.

With that being said, I decided to share my recipe with all of you!

Directions

1. Scoop 1 cup (225g) of DANNON Light & Fit yogurt (vanilla flavor) into a bowl.

2. Add a handful of Kashi’s Go Lean Crisp! granola/oats (cinnamon flavor) and stir around.

3. After letting them sit for 30 minutes (or microwaving for 1 minute), add your favorite frozen fruit! I chose Dole’s Wildly Nutritious Sunshine Blend, which contains mandarin oranges, pineapple, and strawberries. The great thing about this particular package is that it is 100% natural and absolutely no artificial sugars or flavoring are added. I think that the frozen fruit, as opposed to regular, gives more of a fun, refreshing taste.

And there ya have it! An absolutely delicious breakfast, lunch, or snack!
